#Enervironment

Siauras lauko keliukas vingiuoja per sodriai žalią mišką su aukštomis, tiesiomis pušimis. Saulės šviesa skverbiasi pro lapus, skleisdama šiltą švytėjimą ant medžių kamienų ir žemės.

Enervironment is a new term comprehensively reflecting our activities. This term combines the concepts of energy and environmental protection and clearly defines our mission to manage Lithuania’s nuclear energy legacy safely and sustainably, creating a clean environment.

Enervironment – our promise to Lithuania

After the nuclear power plant operating in Lithuania was shut down, the nuclear energy cycle did not end there. Today Lithuania is at the final stage of this cycle, where the most important task is to manage the radioactive waste generated during nuclear energy production safely, without endangering people or the environment.

Our main task now is to implement the immediate dismantling works of the nuclear power plant, leaving no unjustified radioactive waste management burden for future generations.

Enervironment includes not only the technical and engineering decommissioning works but also our value-based commitment to implement the plant’s decommissioning activities responsibly, safely and with environmental care. This means that every step – from demolition of structures and dismantling of equipment to developing innovative radioactive waste storage solutions – is strictly controlled and complies with international safety requirements.
