If procurement documents so require, suppliers and contractors planning to carry out activities in the territory of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) must have a license or temporary authorisation issued by the State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate (VATESI). These documents give the right to carry out activities in the environment of ionising radiation in a nuclear facility.

Do you need a license or a temporary authorisation?

License

Licences are issued to entities registered in the Republic of Lithuania.

Temporary authorisation

Temporary authorisations are issued to foreign entities that hold valid licenses in their country.

The price of a license/temporary authorisation to carry out activities in the ionising radiation environment in a nuclear facility is EUR 804.

Fees may change, therefore, check for the relevant information here (3.26 for a license, 4.599 for a temporary authorisation).
