Suppliers’ Day: Looking for Partners to Implement Strategic Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant Decommissioning Projects

Altra is carrying out a one-of-a-kind megaproject in Lithuania – ensuring the safe decommissioning of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and managing Lithuania’s nuclear legacy. We are seeking partners ready to work with us on implementing strategic projects. 

We’re offering extensive opportunities for collaboration – currently, we are implementing nearly 40 projects across six project portfolios, with a total value of €485 million. 

On November 19, we invite you to participate in Suppliers’ Day, where we will present upcoming (2026–2028) strategic projects and planned public procurements. We are looking for suppliers who can offer efficient and innovative solutions – from infrastructure modernization to remotely operated mechanisms and robotic systems, radioactive waste management infrastructure development, and reactor dismantling solutions. 

During the event, we will present project progress and key milestones, and provide an opportunity to ask questions directly to project managers. 

Participants of this event will also have the opportunity to visit the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant on December 2 and see the megaproject with their own eyes.
